My Story

After graduating from The University of Portsmouth with a degree in TV & Film Production I went straight to work at the BBC as a Technical Runner helping out on shoots and ingesting more tapes than I ever knew existed...  I carried on the post production work at Sky News and then again at the BBC as a Data Wrangler.  I later moved into the production side of things and got trained in camera operating, location sound recording and lighting.  Using these wide range of skills I was lucky enough to put them all into action on a daily basis.  In different locations every day I would film interviews, actuality, pieces to camera, GVs, reconstructions etc... Covert filming has also become a speciality of mine, rigging venues with tiny HD-SDI cameras, PTZ's and microphones all secretly wired back to a monitoring room, which I could call home for sometimes up to a week.

I then branched out into the world of sport and became a staff Camera Operator at Input media where I worked for ChelseaTV creating content for their 24 hour Sky Channel as well as online and high end branded content shoots.  It was at Input where I first worked on a Live broadcast, I would shoot live football matches, press conferences and studio shows on a weekly basis.

Since then I have been taking all my industry knowledge and training and I am working as a freelance camera operator/ editor.  I can provide top quality footage and films with competitive rates.
